Our Story

A Nonprofit on a Mission to Digitally Empower Africa

Hriscare International Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building empowered, resilient, and self-reliant communities through the strategic use of digital technology.

“I knew this wasn’t the life they wanted for themselves. Life had simply thrown them into a corner because they lacked the basic tools to escape poverty. I founded Hriscare to create a level playing field, so that every person has the opportunity to choose a better path.”

Ambassador Tabitha Hris, Founder

After graduating from Madonna University, Okija, Tabitha returned to her community in Kabong, Gada Biyu, Jos North — only to find many of her peers trapped in cycles of drug addiction, early motherhood, and social exclusion. Not because they lacked ambition, but because they lacked opportunity.

Tabitha started by training local children in core life values, access to education, and digital literacy. These early grassroots efforts, rooted in her parents’ 35-year healthcare legacy, laid the foundation for what would become a regional movement.

The Founder

A Trailblazer for Digital Inclusion

Raised in the vibrant community of Kabong, Gada Biyu in Jos North, Plateau State, Ambassador Tabitha Hris was shaped by parents who deeply valued quality education and service to humanity.

Her personal awakening witnessing the untapped potential of her community led her to found Hriscare International Foundation and dedicate her life to technology-driven social transformation.

In 2023, Tabitha made history as the first Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Northern Nigeria and the 7th woman in Africa to receive this prestigious global recognition, a testament to her technical excellence and community leadership.
